| Great hotel, rooms were perfect and the beds were so comfortable. Had Services at Ice Spa, it was a great experience. The only flaw was that the view from our 14th floor room was of the cemetary across the street. |

| The hotel is near the end of downtown Anchorage and in walking distance of the downtown mall and several outdoor shops and shopping centers. There is a country style restaurant right across the street and a few blocks away towards downtown are many more restaurants to choose from. Stores tend to close around 7pm but the mall is open until 9pm. The mall is where I found my local Hawaiian food at L&L's Hawaiian BBQ on the top floor food court. What a blessed find this was considering this is the first time I had really good Hawaiian style food since deploying for Afghanistan back in June of 2011. The grinds was broke da mouth!
The hotel room was very comfortable and much larger than I expected. It certainly was a good deal and had a good view of downtown Anchorage. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend this is family. However, keep in mind that taxis are expensive and necessary if you want to explore beyond downtown. Unless of course you can catch the bus which is fairly straight forward and easy to use.
I certainly enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton. |

| The Downtown Anchorage Sheraton has terrific rooms, and even decent rates if you take your time and look around.
The location is blocks away from some of the most upscale restaurants in Anchorage, over a dozen bars/clubs, and some good times. |

| We were able to get a room with a view of the mountains and it was spectacular! The room was large and comfortable except for the heating which was turned up high and difficult to adjust. Anchorage is a neat town and this hotel is a fine place to stay there.
And I almost forgot to say that the spa is terrific and just the thing after spending time in the zero and below weather. |

| Stayed on the 7th and 14th floors of this hotel in Feb/Mar of 2012.
Everything would of been perfect except on each floor the heating system of the hotel was extremely loud. It was like being on an airplane. A constant, unending loudness with other loud clanging that would occur randomly throughout the night.
I understand this may be only a winter thing when the heating needs to be on all the time. But it definitely hindered a comfortable nights sleep.
This hotel is used by the pilots of a lot of airlines. I could not understand how they could get a good nights sleep.
If if wasnt for the noise I would not be able to find fault with it. |

| This hotel is very close to downtown and within walking distance of most things downtown. There is a shuttle to the airport but it does cost extra. There is internet in the lobby that is complimentary but in the rooms it does cost extra. Over all it is a very nice hotel in a pretty good location. |

| Access to the club level was the redeeming factor with this stay. The bed & linens where very nice. But our room was very warm, and after adjusting the thermostat twice with no temperature fix, we open the window. |
