| Stayed here because the Hilton chain and Marriott Hotels were all sold out. The Hotel is Alaskan Style. The lobby area is in need of upgrading. The service is OK. Booked a room with a King Bed. Checked in and was given a room 1/4 mile away-no kidding. Got to room and it had two double beds. Called desk and was accused of booking it that way. I quickly challenged them with my Iphone- handy. We were given another room by a snappy manager-rude. There was only one night stand and the light bulb in the lamp was burnt out. The overhead track lighting was Missing lamps as well. Read my book using light from the vanity. The TV looked like it was purchased in the 80's. The room was clean though and big. Advice: Don't stay in a place that stores all the cleaning supplies and linens in the hallway. Disappointing, |

| the Hotel Millennmuin in Anchorage was excellent, except for the food. Top of the line prices, average selection and average taste. |

| The hotel was great but I was very disappointed in the prices of the food and drinks. And with the expensive rooms I also had to pay for internet. This should be included. |

| I find this to be a rather overpriced but only average hotel. I have stayed there several times. One service offered was airport shuttle. On arrival, I phoned and requested pickup. It took a long time to show up, and it became clear that their radios used to send drivers were not working. I complained to the desk.
On returning to Anchorage a week later, I requested their shuttle service again. After a very long wait, I took an expensive, short taxi ride to the hotel. I guess the radios had not been fixed.
I have also had rooms given away in the at this hotel when arriving late, and having roll-away beds suggested, etc.
On balance, I think this is a mediocre facility, and am looking for an alternative. If I find one, I will cancel an up-coming reservation. |

| Beautiful older hotel with many amenities. Close to the airport. Convienantly located near restaurants. Also offers in house restaurant, bar and gift shop. |

| I was very disapointed with my stay at the Millenium.
The room was near a party room which was being cleaned making it noisy. The clock radio was broken and there was no hair dryer.
The room temperatuire was around 80 degrees when I checked in and there is no way to cool it down. |

| Beds were very comfy, clean room and nice location. Great view of lake hood! Had to pay for Internet. Hot tub was in the workout room- weird. Needs an update bad!!! Steam room was out of order- bummer. Keys to room seem to work on and off- pain in the butt! No flat screens but fine with us- we were exploring Alaska, not watching TV. Restraunts were yummy- pricy but good. The tomato shrimp bisque is a must try at the fancy moose! We would stay here again. |
